Look after all your family identification needs with
Reebok CramAlert ID
Following the tragic death of his brother Kevin Cram in 2001, Current BBC athletics commentator and former Great Britain Olympian, Steve Cram, has teamed up with global sports wear brand Reebok to create the latest must have for runners and their families Reebok CramAlert ID.
In May 2001, Kevin Cram, 39, died after falling and fracturing his skull while out running in Cardiff Park.
He was found by a passing motorist, but it took 48 hours to notify his family because Kevin was not carrying any form of identification. Those 48 hours were obviously a very distressing time for Steve and his family and as result has spurred on the creation of Reebok CramAlert ID.
Runner’s and all sorts of normal family people face daily problems of how to identify themselves in the event of an emergency where normal communication is a problem.
Just think of the people in your family, who you worry about when you are not with them! Link to inset box to show examples - (who benefits using Reebok CramAlert ID?)
Reebok CramAlert ID, is a unique identification service in the form of a unique ID adjustable wristband, which is worn by the registered person whilst out running, on holiday, working, going to school etc.
Each ID wristband carries the Incident Response Centre 24-Hour emergency number and a unique ID number for the registered wearer of the band.
Each member of the family may register next-of-kin contact details and allergy & medical conditions in case of emergencies, so should trouble find them, they are safe in the knowledge that they can be identified quickly and easily and the family contacted immediately.
Choosing the unique Reebok CramAlert ID provides you with many assurances:

- Medical or allergy information necessary for the emergency services can be forwarded to them.
- A 24 hour Reebok CramAlert Incident Response Team will liaise between you, the emergency services and your family until you are safely reunited.
